I love it, OP, but I'm biased-- if we have a girl, she will be Luisa. I think Louise goes really well with Josephine. Personally, I detest the nickname "weezy," so I will be doing all in my power to avoid it. (I might use "Isa" if I start nicknaming at all (and if it's a girl!))

I like Louise, but I love Louisa. Louisa sounds very fresh but simultaneously classic. It also ends in an "a" which I like. Very pretty. Like Lulu for a nickname, too.

I like Louise a lot, but I wouldn't nickname her Lulu. My grandmother's name is Louise, and it's obviously a little old-fashioned, but it's a pretty name.
