| Any thoughts on this name? Does anyone know any little girls with the name? Or maybe the nickname Lulu? It has a strong family meaning and on its face I really like it, but something about it (I can't figure out what) is making me hestitate a bit. And I generally like more "old fashioned" names (we have a Josephine already). |
| I'd hate it less if you made it Louisa. |
Diplomacy is clearly not a strong suit of yours. Or even a suit of yours at all. What a jerk. |
| I love LuLu! I would personally not want my name to be Louise but I can't explain why. I just don't think it sounds pretty as some older names do now like Sophie, etc. Can you use the L to honor that person? |
| I like Louise. Very pretty. I do not like Lulu. |
|
Louise is lovely.
I mostly associate Lulu, like Fifi, with poodles. However, I have met two Lulus (one a nickname, one not), and neither was poodle-ish, so this is obviously my problem, not theirs. |
You sound hormonal. Take a chill pill and log off. |
| I like Louise and knew a nice normal one in college. I kinda like Louisa better too though. I personally hesitate because of the George Jefferson "Weezy" connection. But I like it and LuLu is ok too. |

I think Louise is a fine, lovely name. Especially if you have strong family history behind the name, it's a good choice. I do prefer Louisa, but that's just me (and apparently a rude PP, ahem).
Not a fan of Lulu, too cutesy for my taste. |

I love Louise!
I, too, have an elderly relative Aunt Louisr and she is a lovely, wonderful lady. I think a baby Louise sounds sweet. Go for it! |
| I really like that name. I also like Louisa. |
| I think it's absolutely beautiful! Louise, Louisa and Eloise were our top three if we had a girl and we are having a boy...go for it 100%. |
| I don't really care for Louise but do like Eloise or Louisa. |
| Luisa is also nice |
| Fine. Have you considered Eloise, too? |
