Why is his ethnicity important?

It's the lions. Italians always have sculptures. At least they do in my part of the Jersey hood.

OK - nice to know you're speaking for my people.

thanks . . .

Signed,
sculpture-less Italian

I thought Persians had the lions.

They're Cubans from Miami and they built this place to remind them of home. He is a lawyer. Not sure what Cubans are doing on the Eastern Sore. While I agree it's pricey, it is 20 acres of land with a beautiful 800 feet of waterfront. Why is this house ridiculous according to DCUMers but a decrepit rowhouse in SE can go for almost $2 million?

Actually the owner grew up in Catonsville.

It looks like a hospital.

I kind of dig the Art Moderne referenence, but every wall needs to be repainted.

Another person who loves it, although not EVERY decorating choice. But damn, I bet those folks are fun!

When you can afford it, THEN start to post about how hideous you think it is

But if you're not in the million dollar category, I fail to see how you can become experts on its decor.

They have money - big time money - which means they can decide HOW to decorate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Of course, and we can comment as we please.

I've been to Cuba. There is nothing even remotely like this in Cuba. When they wanted something to remind them of home, did they mean Miami?
