Recently there was a thread about a 34 million dollar home in Stevensville, just on the other side of the Bay Bridge. Here's the link to the thread including the link to the photos of the house.
http://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/320202.page#3837514 As we were driving home from the beach yesterday, DW decided to look up the house and see what else was for sale in that area. Lo' and behold, we stumbled across another gem, but at a much lower price just up the road from the 34 million dollar place. Feast your eyes on this, but don't do so after you've eaten. You may get dizzy. This is Miami Vice-Mob gone way bad. http://www.homefinder.com/MD/Stevensville/1720-Love-Point-Rd-97202554d |
| Looks like it would be perfect for a reality show! |
| I've never seen so much track lighting. |
|
There should be a life-sized cut-out of Don Johnson standing in the foyer.
And what's with the lion statues in the driveway? |
| It's exuberant. Can see why that might bother educated but wage-poor types who live in little brick houses. |
That's one way of describing it.

fav DCUM line of the day (so far) I'm amazed that it's "only" 3.5M for that much space, large lot on the water, pool, guest house, etc. |
| Is this where 80's hair bands go to retire? |
| There's a good story behind that place, I'm sure, and I would love to know what it is! |
Yes, and I'm guessing it involves a body being buried in the cement foundation and a gun or two thrown in the Bay. |
| The house itself I like. It's the decor that ruins it for me. |
What, you don't like the purple and aqua dining room??? |
| It's a great house with great space, light, flow, and waterfront location. It has poor paint choices. But you need to see beyond the paint. |
|
Looks like a fun place to party! I'd love to learn about whoever owns it.

| Owner is an Italian-American electrical contractor outside of Baltimore. |
