I'm so tired of the princessy, frilly girl names that just about every other girl has like:

Adriana
Audrianna
Gabriella
Isabella
Mariana
Juliana
Arabella
Ella
Kiana
Kiarra

I think Piper is adorable and am pissed that Sarah Palin ruined it. Wouldn't have used it because I prefer the classics like Mary, Elizabeth, Caroline, but still disappointed to see the loss of such a cute name.

Mine are:
Brittany, Jaden (boy or girl)

Let's not do this. OK?

Hi, Brittany and Jaden's mom!

Not hardly. I just find the inherent nastiness of the OP to be offputting. Wonder if she's keyed someone's car recently.,

Totally agree. What a nasty thread to start, with the only point being to make someone feel bad about what they may have named their child. And no, neither of my children's names have been mentioned here.

And when I lived in Chicago I cringed every time I met a little girl names Maddison or Addison. Usually the same family that has a dog named Wrigley. Those are major downtown streets and a stadium! Not names! No one in DC is naming their kid Farragut or Calvert or DuPont. SMH

You realized you just unleashed the next DC naming trend (after Larla becomes the new Madison).

Farragut is a stretch, but I can totally see Calvert or DuPont!

Kayla

Fake made up names like Kasen

I know a family who have kids named Charlie, Cheyenna, and Clayton - so I said, oh, all C names, but it turns out, they spelled the last two names Shyanna and Klayton.

so so stupid. Klayton with a K is just yucky and ruins the perfectly nice name of Clayton.

Kayla, and any of its relatives

Cole, it's the word moist to me. Feels wrong.

Rowen. Because I have no clue how it's pronounced and I've never met one irl but it's always thrown around on here.

You do realize you don't have to click on threads that upset you, right?
