Nutella

Omg, it's so good. It's white chocolate though, not vanilla I think. And it's very sweet. But delicious.

I keep a jar of Nutella in my desk drawer for the occasional at-work pick-me-up. Had some spread on banana slices this morning, and it's especially fabulous with coffee -- something about the hazelnut flavor just cries out for the bitterness of coffee, even though I hate flavored coffee. Because it's so lovely, I just don't keep it at home. None of us could resist the temptation to spread it on everything.

Le Pain Quotidien also has a darker chocolate spread for those of you who prefer dark. It's fabulous with jam (so sugary, I know) on a good piece of bread.

World Market has a dark chocolate nut-free spread. Better than nutella, not so damn sweet.....

Nutella is EVIL! I put 5 lbs on when I first allowed that horrible calorie-laden delicious food into my home. I have no control whatsoever. It is a banned substance in my house.

I love it on graham crackers with bananas, and I found a wonderful recipe for a potluck nutella ball/dip! Heaven!

I can't keep a jar in my house without eating the whole thing in two days or less. Hence I rarely buy it.

Anonymous wrote:Nutella has a pretty high sugar content and can be kind of runny for my taste. I love the chocolate peanut butter spread by the peanut butter company (blue colored lid). They sell it at target and whole foods. I prefer it to regular peanut butter and jelly. I think it only has like 6 grams of sugar compared to 20+ for nutella. I am ashamed to admit how many jars I go through

Yes! The chocolate-peanut butter spread is made with dark chocolate, so it's less sweet.
