DH out of work but kids still in daycare

My DH is watching the baby. He got laid off. Baby is due in August. In the meantime I am starting up some small business that could provide a couple of supplementary dollars to the bottom line. If he is at home those kids need to be at home!!!! But you have been doing it for 7 months. So he might fight it. I wouldn't even ask. I would just say...oh...I took the kids out of day care.

Have the children stay home with dad while he looks for work. It will be valuable for everyone.

+ 1. totally agree. If the situation were reversed and the female OP lost her job and had no prospect of another one any time soon, I guaranty her husband would fully expect her to watch the kids.
