There is no way the Cluster 1 parents would stand for that and politically, they are stronger than the Cluster 2 parents. No way will Janie Strauss push for something they don't want.
Also, I don't think the staff would support it. Their plan is to change the centers from geographically determined to based by high school. The more likely scenario is that they "clean up" the split feeders by changing Lemon Road and Westgate to single feeder schools to Marshall. FWIW, I'm a Cluster 2 parent so I'm not putting down Cluster 2 and Marshall. In fact, we specifically moved to the Marshall district instead of McLean after looking in both areas and talking to people about both schools. I'm just calling it as I see it. |
