Actually, our consulate in Karachi was attacked in 2002. 10 killed, 51 injured.
A consulate in Saudi was attacked about 2 years later. I think about ten or so people died there.
There was a grenade attack in Athens.
The serbs lit an embassy on fire. One person died.
We lost a bunch of people when our embassy was attacked in Yemen in Bush's last year.

And of course the "embassador" was not sodomized. You realize that was a fake report, yes?
