In my opinion, what she said after the debate was pretty much what she was trying to say at the time. That he did say it was an act of terror, but Romney is correct that it took another 2 weeks to fully embrace that claim. and I don't think she was trying to help Obama by fact-checking Romney. I think she was trying to shut him up and get him to stop embarrassing himself so that they could finally move on.

I don't get why everyone is picking apart the timeline of the Libya attack. I guess I just assume that our gov't is not typically at liberty to share everything they know with the public. Perhaps overusing the words "terror attack" while the situation is still unfolding could make things worse. Perhaps it was in our best interest to not let the terrorists know what our gov't knows. I don't know. I just think it's bizarre that everyone thinks our president should go around blabbing about highly sensitive situations and throwing around highly inflammatory words such as terrorism.

No one is suggesting he go around blabbing about highly senstitive situations, but we are demanding that he show leadership and not mislead the public by subverting information about a real terrorist attack (the facts of which were well known at the time of his UN speech) and suggest that the real cause of the death of four Americans was some dumb video. He believes his only real winning record is getting Osama, so by having another terrorist attack on the anniversary of 9/11 doesn't do him any favors.

Time and time again Obama has showed he is not "presidential material" that you reference....he is incapable of leading. He just doesn't have it in him.

Congrats on getting your candidate to show up and open his mouth. The general phrase "acts of terror" does not refer to Benghazi as an "act of terror." Candy Crowley didn't think it was such a stretch to conclude Obama specifically meant Benghazi when he clearly didn't if you read the whole speech. "Binders full of women" refers to binders of resumes of qualified candidates. Obama and Crowley shut down a substantive conversation which led to Obama's win in the polls. She admitted she made the stretch, DCUM...deal with it and move on...

Yeah, I remember that, too, and was disappointed when Clinton got that information he did nothing about it. And nothing about the several other instances of attacks on the US on his watch with no meaningful response. Democrats' handling of US interests abroad is deplorable...Carter, Clinton, now Obama. Geesh, what a track record.
