| The only part that is true is that there is a teen health clinic in the building (note: "health clinic," not "teen pregnancy clinic"). Th dropout rate is an artificial construct. Any student who leaves TC who does not provide the address of their new high school is included in the dropout rate. TC has many international students. If a student goes back to Honduras and does not provide information about his or her new high school in Honduras, that student is counted as a dropout. TC has students from over 60 countries. |
| I'm the OP here - I'm reading all these posts. . . a lot to think about! |
+1 - of course that's true she majored in math she knows all the stats. Of course your kids will get into TJ no problem
|
Regression towards the mean. That's all I have to say. |
Which says the proper construct is, in fact, say your piece. For which smug grammar mom upbraided me. Wrongly. There's a difference between a typo and a grammar error, you know. |
We're not talking about Arlington, and they don't have one in every Arlington HS besides. |
| That was a reply to Arlingtonman, I am betting, as he regularly reports on how superior Arlington is to Alexandria, school-wise, and berates TC for having a teen health center on site. |

lol "said my peace, dumbass"
lol Temple Grandin. |
Actually, no. This is what I said:
I said "Said my piece." So I'm not really sure what you're going on about. Said my piece is correct. |
No. I meant "said my piece." I'll let others judge your insult. |
| So you haven't said your piece? |
| Wow the vitriol here is unreal. |
| At tc williams a piece is also known as a hand gun |
Arlington guy here here: This one ain't mine, and I don't approve of this message. |
This must be one of the most ridiculous things I've read on DCUM, and trust me, that says something. I so hope you didn't move into my neighborhood (also in Fairfax side of Alexandria). B/c I truly hope I don't have a neighbor who is as presumptuous, and yet ignorant, as you. And by the way, it is one thing to state "I hope my kids can follow in my footsteps and work hard / do well in school and get into TJ" and quite another to be obnoxious enough to say that since you scored 800 on you math SATs, that you aren't "concerned" about your KIDS getting into TJ. I mean, really, are you this obnoxious in real life? |
