The same poster posted both of these, so I'll respond to both at once. The purpose of allowing anonymous posts on this site was to ease the barrier to posting -- some posters thought that creating an account and logging in was more than they were prepared to do -- and to allow privacy to users who were posting about personal issues. It was never a goal to allow anonymous bashing of individuals or institutions. If you feel that the purpose of this site was to post unsubstantiated allegations, you have been misinformed. I am sorry that we will not be able to satisfy that desire on your part.

If you feel that I am unfair or that I am inconsistent, I am sure that you are correct. If these failures on my part cause you disappointment, disillusionment, anxiety, or any other malady, I sincerely apologize. We all have our shortcomings. BTW, I also interjected when a Beauvoir supporter posted the initials of a Beauvoir critic and I objected to that poster's allegation that I tolerate the the type of posts that you apparently want to make. I realize that I can't please everyone, but it is increasingly difficult to please anyone at all.

Toth is not only on the FBI Most Wanted List -- He is No. 1 on the Top 10 FBI Most Wanted list. He is the first pedophile to be #1 on the list. Either there is something Toth did that we don't know, or someone at the Cathedral schools is pulling strings. The FBI is offering $100,000 for information leading to Toth's arrest.

Since people seem quicker to voice criticism than compliments, I'll be the one to say thank you to Jeff. I have no dog in this fight, but really appreciate your keeping a close enough eye on this entire topic in order to try and mediate unscrupulous assertions.

Go back to page two and look at the NY Times link that I posted about why he was selected. He's rather unique looking (tall, lanky and somewhat distinctive face) and they feel that putting him on the list will secure a speedy arrest. I think the article sums it up pretty well why he's there.

I received maybe two letters from the school that summer after Toth was escorted out. We're an alumni family and was away most of that summer when the forums were held. The photo taking and the bathroom cam were horrific enough, was the question asked and answered, if he was suspected of physically molesting any child? I can recall on several occasions after school (5:00ish) when I noticed him alone in his classroom with a single child. I assumed tutoring, but now when I think about it... I just read that the picture taking is grooming behavior and that over 70% of pedophiles who are arrested with child pornographic images had molested a child.

I was hopeful that he would have been apprehended by now. He's probably bleached his hair blond, lasered off the mole, and is wearing disposable contacts to change his eye color.

Eric was not spending all of his time at Beauvoir "grooming" children and parents. Obviously he has and had a major problem, and he cannot be permitted to work with children again, but:

He was an excellent teacher - good on substance, good with different kinds of learners, good with innovative curriculum (city management, advanced math, environmental science).

Yes, it's easier for me to see that because it's my daughter who had him, not my son, but let's not all take leave of our senses. And he hardly compares to Osama bin Laden - he's on that list because people like you and me are more likely to encounter him in our daily lives and turn him in. We are less likely to meet the murderers, so posting their pictures is not as helpful.

The best way to make sure he does not work with children again is to give him the death penalty. I am shocked you have anything good to say about a child molester. Once someone violates a child anything good about them goes out the window.
