s/o: What was your first car?

1984 Renault Alliance. I bought it used in my mid-20s. When it came out, it was voted Motor Trend's car of the year. But mine was the biggest lemon I have ever owned. I am the antithesis of mechanical, but even I learned how to change the distributor cap because it died so often.

It was a buick, but I don't remember the model. I believe it had belonged to my grandfather. Stylin'.

First car I bought myself - Mazda MX-6.

1979 Ford Pinto. No air, the heater was broken, and it was a lovely silver-turning-rust color.

1993 Geo Prizm in dark teal. Power nothing. It was a "family car" which meant I wasn't allowed to take it to college with me, which was fine because I didn't need to leave my campus a lot. My parents signed it over to me when I moved here after college and I drove it for 4 more years. I then bought the car I currently drive - a 2002 VW Bteele in bright blue.

18 years of driving, only 2 cars!
