I know I'm in the minority, but I don't want visible muscle definition

Ughhh, talking about "muscle arms" or the opposite, just saw Angelina Jolie present on the Golden Globe awards, and hers are just bony/gaunt looking. Madonna was on earlier, and no surprise (at least to me), hers weren't so impressive, either.

DH couldn't stop going on and on about how weird her arms looked. He has always said that about her. He is the camp that likes more meat on the bones and some muscle. We both agreed Madonna's right arm looked scary though.

Well my body type is muscle. I bulk up easy...but am curvy as well. dH hates skinny women. I, on the other hand, wouldn't mind have thin long legs so I could look good in jeans BUT in a skirt, shorts, dress, bathing suit people go wild about my shapely muscular legs. Pants don't do me justice.

Everytime I've gotten to my own ideal DH and family think I'm too skinny.

Jolie's problem is too little fat. Muscle has nothing to do with it.

I'm with you PP. I'm naturally muscular, and my DH likes me with meat on my bones. I think if I ever got down to the weight I think I need to be at to "wear clothes well", DH would think I was too skinny. I guess that's why he keeps buying beer and cooking delicious food.

She always looks great in clothes. Much less good naked. Look at scenes from her in the movie about the druggy model. Gio maybe.

I'm Mexican-American and I don't like having visible muscle definition. I jog 3x a week and I do some pilates and I eat healthy. I am healthy size 6 and 34c bra size with curvy hips and a rear end. Also in Latino/Hispanic culture they prefer women to look curvy but not fat. There is a general assumption Latinos and African Americans like fat women that is really not the case. They enjoy curves meaning women like Beyonce, Selma Hayek etc.....

She's too thin, but big whoop about her ribs - barrel chested rib cages poke out like that unless you're quite large.
