"No problem with" is a far cry from "respect a right to," which is the perspective of many pro-choicers. I respect the right of neo-nazis to publish a newsletter. "Respect a right to" is even farther from "in favor of," as in "pro-abortion," or the ridiculous alternative you suggest. Incidentally, I see some merit in the objection to "pro-choice," though I think it's less misleading than "pro-life." "Anti-abortion" is perfectly precise. I can't think of anything similarly concise and accurate for the other side. |
Abortion Rights and Anti-Abortion are the most accurate to me.
Pro-Life works only if you are a pacifist and anti-death penalty. |
Slavery rights and anti slavery would be accurate as well. |
Seriously, you equate terminating a pregnancy (a life) with publishing a newsletter? Bless your heart! |
Yes, as a matter of fact the issue at hand before the civil war was about the right to own slaves and whether to extend that right into the territories. Of course the difference is that there really isn't a political movement for slaveholder's rights, so the comment is a waste of space. |
Yes, because pro-lifers never compare abortion to the nazis. Oh wait, you do it ALL THE TIME. Do you even think before you post? |
I'm opposed to abortion (unless rape, incest, risk to mother's life) and agree with all you've posted here. |
This is what teenage girls and spa frequenters consider argument. |
How about we put down the options here:
If your Pro-Choice Pro-Choice Anti-Choice (which means Pro-Life will call you...) Pro-Abortion Anti-Abortion facing the facts Choice means letting people die, Life means doing whats is harder on a few people and giving them, or trying to give them the support needed (if you don't think the unborn are alive, then your nuts, even planned parenthood says they are living, however they maintain they are not "people" ...or may not be, they say its up to you to say when they are, or are not) |
All you anti-death penalty, pacifist pro-lifers please stand up. OK the rest of you are just anti-abortion. |
