How many of us have young kids?

Do tell, inquiring minds want to know! =) Thanks!

I had 4 treatments total--2 IUI and 2 IVF. Gave birth to my daughter just 3 weeks shy of turning 44. It can happen.

I am sorry you are going through this.

Thanks for the supportive posts for my infertility. I am also doing this alone/donor sperm.

Reading success stories like all of yours does give me hope. Glad you all have happy endings in your quest for a child/children.

Anyone else interested in sharing how they became moms (fertility treatments, natural, etc.) ?
Keep the success stories coming!!! =)

If you do not mind sharing, What clinic/RE did you use? Thanks!

47 with an almost 4 year old. Conceived naturally. Husband is 12 years younger if that makes a difference. I did have a couple of miscarriages before. And this is my only child. I would have liked to have more. but, it is what it is. I am grateful to have at least one.

I gave birth at 46, conceived naturally. I have older children as well. I believe the miracle birth stories, because mine is a miracle too. It happened after I'd given up totally, completely, utterly on having another child after years of trying. I accepted that I would have the children I have, and was finally ready to move on. Within a month, I got pregnant. I don't know what psychological/physiological process makes this happen, but it happened to me!

Turning 44 shortly with a 10-month-old. Husband turns 50 in a month. Definitely harder to keep up with the energy as I've gotten older, but you don't sweat the small stuff nearly as much. Daughter is adopted, after an IUI and 5 rounds of IVF at Shady Grove/Cornell.

Never found Mr. Right. Stopped boo-hooing about it and adopted a newborn as a single woman at age 44. That was seven years ago.

51 with an eight-year old daughter adopted from China. We were always ambivalent as to whether or not we wanted to parent, but then decided to go for it. OMG....Can't believe we almost missed that boat! She is the joy of our lives and we LOVE being parents! My best friend just adopted a little girl who was
13mos. My friend just turned 50 and is a single parent. Wow---now that's brave!!!
