I am 48 yr old with elementary school kids.
My first grader just told me I was getting elephant skin because of the wrinkles around my eyes. LOL. No more zoo field trips! |

47 with 6 month old twins.
Happened naturally, after we spent almost 50K trying to conceive. Healthy pregnancy, beautiful babies (a boy and a girl.) We just wish we had that money back.  All it took was a bottle of wine and a trip to Cabo.

| If we're talking bonus babies, our surprise miracle came one year after quitting my high pressure job. So we're 50 with a 5 year old. And very very happy! |

Wow! Great story! You are indeed a rarity. You lucky lady. You really got pregnant naturally at 47? I am only in awe because I went through the entire fertility process several times. Wound up with my now beautiful six year old at the age of 44. I'm fifty now. Oh, I do wish she had been a twin. Yes, I agree, very expensive!!

I love reading happy surprise stories like this. Amazing. My fertility doctor always told me this was pretty much a phenomenon. He said it could happen, but in all likelihood would not. Way to go and Congrats!! |

I sort of don't believe this - you're telling me no fertility drugs or anything? There is like a one in a million chance of that happening at your age. |

50 in December with an 18 month old (by then)!

| 53 with a 3 year old, yes, adopted. Feeling my age (stiffness) and hoping to fit exercise into my schedule again soon. I used to have so much energy and never imagined I'd lose it. I hate to think of being a couch potato while my little one wants to play. |

Ok, question here...How many of these children were natural, adopted, result of fertility treatments? I ask as a 43 year old ttc for the past 2 and a half years (IVF/IUI.)

| 42 and total shocking, wonderful surprise. Also have 2 teenagers. We definitely feel very happy and blessed. Sorry for your TTC issues. |
