what is the friendliest neighborhood in metro DC?

13:10 is spot on with her friendliness factors, and I'll give another shout-out to Somerset, which scores on all five friendliness factors!

You plan on moving just because you don't like the kids in Woodley Park? Weird. Where do you plan to move to?

What's "weird" about the PP's decision to move? I would move for my family's well-being. Let me guess...you live in Woodley Park or a similar neighborhood?

Woodley Park is one of the best neighborhood's in DC (or all of America for that matter). It's an oasis within a bustling city, close to metro, close to shops and eateries, and with good residents etc. There must be another reason that OP isn't telling us.

Since McLean came up-here's my experience with McLean. Great diversity and I find those from other countries-regardless of the country tend to be friendlier. There are certainly down-to earth people, but some uppities too. What cracks me up about the uppities is the worst ones I have encountered have nothing to be uppity about-no college degree, jaded values, poor coping skills/miserable people. It's like they are white trash trying to prove something. Most people however are classy enough to treat others with dignity and respect or so I have found.

PP-again...I think Arlington has some of the friendliest neighborhoods.
