What food do most people love or obsess over that you could go the rest of your life without having?

The other thing is deviled eggs. I always feel like when I am with a group, people get all excited if deviled eggs are available. I find them so unappetizing

I don't like food that gets excessively handled by people. Deviled eggs are like this so are those cake balls that get rolled in peoples hands.

So true. Nothing like a nice piece of cake that someone mashed around in their hands

Cheese.

Chocolate in bar or bon-bon/individual piece form. I’d much rather have a brownie or even chocolate pudding. I don’t want a box of chocolates. I also hate dark chocolate.

Corn bread.

Can't stand the texture. Like eating a box of cardboard.

+1

For me, it's the turkey. I like/love most other thanksgiving food, but turkey does nothing for me. Happily my family and others we do Thanksgiving with feel the same way, and so we've stopped making it, and substitute another protein or two that we all like.

Sushi. Just no.

"Most people" have not had, and will not ever have, caviar and foie gras, much less love it.
Most people I know have, and also love it. Not PP

Stop vomiting your misery and need to be aggressive onto a nice thread. Get some help.
No, I think I'll continue to correct idiotic statements. But I will give your opinion all the consideration it deserves.

This is how you spend your time — on DCUM “correcting idiotic statements”?

You must be chronically online, deprived of real human contact (we can see why), and unable to control a desperate need to correct others. You truly do need help; you are clearly very deficient in a lot of ways.

Describe "heavy" picnic foods.

When I think picnic I think grapes olives figs smoked salmon and prosciutto with a nice rose.

Are you picnicking with fully loaded twice-bakes and a Malnati Chicago Classic™ washed down with eggnog?

I can skip cake too. Much prefer ice cream.

Cake is like eating a sponge

This sounds like a preparation problem.

Not Pp, and I love cornbread, but it has a distinct texture for sure, that is dry-ish feeling, no matter the preparation.
