I felt this way about Chinese food for years and then finally had Chinese other than at your standard Chinese take out place. And now I really love it, but I'm particular about it. |
| Matcha-flavored anything. |
It just all tastes like oil. Too heavy on the oils and sauces in the standard places. |
| Durian love it or hate it |
| Italian food |
I am the exact same as you. And I married into a family that is the opposite. They are always trying to skip lovely baked desserts like cake & whatnot at restaurants so the family can go get ice cream instead. And I’m like, whyyyy? |
| Yogurt. So many people are obsessed with Greek yogurt, eat lots of yogurt, etc. I think it is sour and a gaggy texture. |
| Chocolate |
| Cake. So long as I can have ice cream! And yes I’m lactose intolerant and yes I love ice cream anyway. Never had bad ice cream in my life |
Did you read the title of the thread? The word “rave” does not appear. The word “love” does. Many if not most people love ketchup. No one cares if you “decline” ice cream, either. |
You are not. Why would I pour sugar sauce on my savory food and obliterate it's flavor? |
+ 1. Not a ketchup fan either. |
|
Another vote for chocolate. I will choose the non-chocolate dessert every time given the chance.
I don’t hate it or anything. I just don’t love it. |
I can skip cake too. Much prefer ice cream. |
Yes! My DH went through a period of trying to buy me fancy chocolates, and I finally had to tell him he was basically buying them for himself. |
