27 year drought and now their facing the Spurs in the finals again. That was 1999! He’s ruining it for Knicks fans. No watch parties at all within the perimeter. Gonna be a lot of pissed off people getting thru security. Expect to see more painted faces than usual to conceal identity when they’re booing and cursing. Gonna be wild.

Mayor Zohran Mamdani has announced a free Knicks watch party at Bryant Park after official watch parties outside Madison Square Garden were canceled due to Donald Trump’s attendance.

The new event is expected to give fans an alternative public viewing option for Game 3.

This game is a quick helicopter ride from one of his golf resorts. His son's wedding was not. I'm sure if Junior had gotten married at or near a Trump property his father would have found some time.

Mamdani is resorting to extreme security measures, because if anything happens to Trump in NYC, he knows he's going to get blamed. He's the "socialist" mayor, so obviously he's automatically guilty according to MAGA.

Which is probably why Mamdani has offered this alternative party - he wants to please both sides.
