I came to say this.

Same. Child of a father who could have written that song, except that we actually have a good relationship now ... but it took many years to get here. The song brings back old memories.

On the happier side: Walk the Moon, Shut Up and Dance. It literally makes me want to jump up and start dancing every time I hear it.

Cause I Love You by Lenny Williams. When I tell you!! There are some others, for example, Purple Rain by Prince and Stairway to Heaven by the O Jays (yes, I know the Rolling Stones also had a song by this name - the O Jays version is different).

But this song right here! They don't do it like this anymore.

Anonymous wrote:If I saw you in heaven, Eric Clapton. Maybe because it’s about his preschooler son dying in a tragic accident but that one makes me absolutely bawl. It’s a beautiful song but I just can’t listen to it.

And this one I feel dumb about but for some reason the Green Day Time of Your Lfe sort of gets to me.

This also makes me think of when I played Danny Boy for my son when he was little and he burst out in loud sobs like an old drunk Irishman. I was very startled but it was pretty funny. He’s very empathic. He also could not listen to that I Lava You song without sobbing.

Same re “I Saw You in Heaven” and “Good Riddance”. And, don’t get me started on Danny Boy” lol

The song is “Tears in Heaven”

For those who loved the ending scene of Six Feet Under, add this song. As someone who missed their family, I remember how I felt and still feel whenever I hear Sia - Breathe Me

Just the INXS version? Because that's a Joy Division song.
