What are you talking about? My point was that this stuff happens at every middle school, but there is a group of people who are constantly bringing up how awful Carson is. I know for a fact that these things happen at Kilmer and Longfellow but you don't see those moms starting a new thread every time there is a fight at those schools.

At my middle school decades ago (a well off suburb of Chicago) you better believe the kids would take matters into their own hands. And the results would not have been pretty. The administration in this small district knew this, and took great pains to hold those who assaulted girls to account. After one such incident, the school timely stopped a future NHL defenseman from tearing a sexual assailant to pieces. That assailant spent (after a period of six suspension) a school life in the shadows. My mother was a PE teacher whom the girls adored (didn’t help me in dating). She didn’t support violence in any way but at the same time knew what made the girls safer.

You can't know who the posters are so there is some serious desire to make Oakton families look awful. The funny part is that the ones I know have kids in Carson AAP so, no, they won't be moving to Franklin, they will be staying at Carson. They are the epitome of wanting other people's kids to move to a less desirable school so that their kids can stay where they want them to stay. Crossfield sports families are so stupid and clueless, they're just following along like sheep.

Why? Franklin has AAP and in a few years, there will not be a choice to attend Carson for AAP if you are zoned to Franklin.
