UC Merced is ranked higher than UMass, UConn, Delaware, UVM, etc. In the next five years it will be a T15 public. |
They should exclude all schools that are test optional too since most people don’t submit. |
UMD is t10 for computer science and maybe engineering- it is not Michigan, uva or Georgia tech (and I am terp alum and a parent of terp alum) |
Yep. Dude sounds like he'd be fun at parties. lol |
If you're sorting by employer feedback, who cares whether the school's admission policy was TO (or test blind, for that matter)? |
May be it is more meaningful to have lists for "Top 10 Public for STEM Majors" vs "Top 10 Public for Non-STEM Majors". |
CA also has community colleges and UC Merced is NOT one of the community colleges. Nor is UC Merced a Cal State (CSU) university. UC Merced is one of the 8 UCs that offers undergrad degrees |
They are trying to grow the biophysics program. Look into it |
Is GA Tech t10 aside computer science and engineering? |
| For those of you who put stock in standardized tests, there are only six public universities where the CDS shows over 50% of students submitted standardized test scores and where the 75th percentile of SAT was over 1500: Georgia Tech, Michigan, UIUC, UNC, UVA, William & Mary. |
I live in NYC and some of the kids that get into Ivies and top 10 are not top 10 material either. These kids are highly coached and tutored from a very young age. The fake non-profits, niche sports and nepo internships make these kids look much better than they really are. So many kids have accomodations and take the SAT multiple times. More than 50% of my daughter's class has some form of accomodations. |
To be fair, Florida has 100% reporting standardized test scores and has a 1470 75th percentile. Georgia Tech has 1530 at the 75th percentile with 100% reporting, which is exceptional. |
Source? |
Which of these schools have less than 50% submitting scores? |
Are you as dumb as you seem? |
