Find a new friend, she sounds tiresome

Your friend doesn’t have kids—what on earth do you expect? You shouldn’t expect that she would want to talk about your kid.

I find that truly strange. I talk about a million things with my friends! Children, spouses are not off limits.

So weird. I have family members with no kids and of course we talk about our families and they don't try to stifle it. I know my kids are not the center of anyone else's universe but I can't fathom this being off limits. This person is not friend material.

My kids and spouse don’t need to be the center of attention of my friends. There are so many other interesting topics to discuss with friends that don’t involve exposing your kids.

Ditto, of course. But some people on here are black and white thinkers.
