Least conservative/least MAGA of the top-ranked schools in MCPS?

The Upcounty schools appear to be red leaning based on several posters here: Poolesville, Sherwood, Seneca Valley, Clarksburg and Magruder

What? Where do you get this from?

All these schools are so diverse and no MAGA's this side. Have you ever been Upcounty?

With a MAGA Superintendent for balance.

You'd be surprised of WJ too. I am right of center and many of my neighbors. Democrats were better at some point but recently they just dont know what they are doing. Woke and dei spoiled everything.

OP Here:

Thanks for all your comments. My husband and I are Catholics. While we are personally more of the liberation theology school, our religious and personal communities and lives are diverse, and it sounds like there will be multiple good environments for our children in Montgomery County. We just wanted to avoid one of those environments where everyone believes, or acts like, Trump/Bukele/Machado etc. are gods and there’s little critical analysis. But it sounds like there will be nothing along those lines in Maryland.

Thanks for all your recommendations and your warm virtual welcome

Damascus and Sherwood are 100% MAGA schools. Pooleseville is kinda MAGA too.

Saying Woke and DEI spoiled everything says a lot about you.

OP there is no diehard MAGA school in MoCo at least not openly. Some schools are more diverse than others(some by great margins). Some have greater resources due to PTA and Boosters, choose areas of the county you like and go from there

Yes, you'll be in good company. FWIW, if you're looking for a map based indicator of political leanings, the NYTimes "An Extremely Detailed Map of the 2024 Election" is a good place to start if you're a subscriber.
Maryland is a very blue state. When we left DC we went to a much less blue part of the state near Annapolis, but still a bit more blue than red. The NYTimes maps show me all the precincts around me voted for Harris...small consolation but...

I wouldn’t even say MAGA is the majority in those schools but the conservative rhetoric and good ol’ boys network is strong. Like another PP mentioned, there are pockets of wealthy conservatives all over MoCo but they don’t speak out and embarrass themselves like MAGA. My son switched friend groups in hs and it was surprising to me how many of his new friends (white, Jewish) subtly promoted republican, misogynistic values.

Your anti-semitism is showing. It's the Christian Conservatives and the right wing Israeli people, not most Jews in Montgomery County, who are Trump supporting MAGAs.

OP, if interested there are some moderate Catholic schools in MOCO that may be of interest to you in the future. The area leans left and most of our DC peers come from left of center families.
If you are moderate politically or socially I would be prepared for wing labeled MAGA in MOCO. You may feel like you are in the Twilight Zone for a few months coming from FL.

@OP

If you are more of a left Catholic and it's important to you to be connected to communities that might understand and/or value that I'd consider looking beyond schools like BCC/WJ (which can still be good options) and also considering the Blair or even Einstein clusters. The schools don't have the same 'top' ranking but they're very good. Einstein has a great Spanish immersion pathway through the elementary (Oakland Terrace) and middle school (Newport Mill) level that serves communities that might share a left Catholic perspective more than others. Potentially some schools in Gaithersburg too, like QO, which, while farther out (don't know how close to DC you're trying to get) could work in this sense too.
