Also WL for GDS (high school). Is this a real WL or does GDS waitlist everyone who wasn’t accepted? |

I believe they WL everyone. Having said that, my child was admitted off the WL there a few years ago. |

| GDS waitlists nearly everyone. You will have very anecdotal reports of people getting in off the waitlist, but assume it's in the sub 5% range. Be delighted if it happens but definitely plan for the exceptionally high chance that they are not admitted. |

| Our 8th grader got into Maret - GDS - Field - St. Andrews and was waitlisted and Sidwell - which was our first choice. Not sure if it's worth waiting or not - or just going with one of the schools he got into. If he's waitlisted at SFS - then tell me - what are his chances of getting in? |
