Are beers a snack?

I am sort of amazed by some of these responses, assuming that because you have certain habits, anyone who doesn’t share them is problematic. So extreme (but in the current climate, not surprising).

[Not an almond mom but also not a snacker, unless beer counts in which case yes, sometimes, with pleasure.]

Right there with you. My thinnest friends are the biggest snackers. Not large quantities and mostly healthy but daily snacks.

I usually eat at 11, 2 and 6 but if I get up early and have breakfast at 9 I do 9, 12, (snack at 2) and 6.

Ill have a snack before I work out. Usually a pb&j.

I am probably Skinnypop’s number 1 customer. Popcorn is my go to and raspberries are a close second.

Not sure what is meant by snack.

As a healthy and fit and trim person, I don't eat lunch but have a banana around 11:30 and usually an apple with some cheese and crackers mid afternoon.

Most healthy, fit and tim people I know have a diet regime they follow. Diet regime sounds officious, but it's the pattern to the eating that matters. And that goes a long way to ensuring a good weight balance. And it becomes second nature so we don't see it as a regime.

Those are snacks. I take it to mean anything that is not one of the three meals.

Sounds like you have two meals and two snacks, IMO.

Only if they are American.

My husband does not snack and eats very large portions, especially at dinner.

I snack thoughout the day and eat small portions.

We are both overweight, so go figure.

I normally get hungry around 3:30-4:00 and eat a piece of fruit, a little popcorn or some nuts. I get up at 6:00 but don't get a chance to eat until 9:00 so I'm not usually hungry for a snack before lunch. I am trying to do better about cutting off my food around 7:30 which I think matters more than not eating a snack when you're hungry. If I don't snack, I inhale my dinner and overeat.
