Extremely telling, no arrests in USA or Israel yet.

What a joke we are here.

They didn’t arrest him for sex crimes. He was trading national secrets to foreign governments for payouts. He was also giving insider information.

But, yes, we need to step up our investigation and arrest those involved with the sex trafficking.

And they never will get him for sex crimes. There are no witnesses coming forward with credible accusations that would withstand a legal challenge. Epstein's emails simply don't have the legal weight you wish they did.

They are leads and threads. A competent investigative agency can make use of them over time. None in the U.S. unfortunately

The Epstein files have become bigger than life, people are turning the files into something they want it to be rather than what they are.

We do know Epstein was "recruiting" young women and putting them in positions of availability. But it doesn't mean many of the men's named in the files did anything illegal on their end. It is not illegal to sleep with a woman you met at a party. Most of these women were of legal age. That is why prosecution is so complicated in this area.

Andrew was arrested because he apparently shared government information. That can be prosecuted. Howard Lutnick lying about his association with Epstein is not prosecutable as he didn't lie under oath.

There are also many names in the Epstein files of people who clearly knew him but there is no evidence they actually did anything wrong and their greatest crime is having been friendly with him. That's Lutnick, so far. Or the Clintons. You don't arrest people simply for being known to having been at an Epstein party. Much of the reaction right now reeks more of a sanctimonious vigilante mob and Salem Witch trial mentality. Which is a shame as there were really unethical things Epstein and Maxwell did.

Reported to Jeff for antisemitism.

Most of these men will not be prosecuted for the children or women.

Epstein used the women as bait. No question that he was probably involved in "other" matters which could implicate these men.

As someone who supports the victims, I'm all for going after them with anything that is available.

Expose it all

The files are nauseating and Lutnik associated with someone who was under investigation at that time snd brought his children with him

Yes, I know he's a tool, but this bad? I'd like more competence and not the Epstein class running this country.

Yes,please keep bringing up the Clintons. That will leave Trump no cover and you know it.

I didn't get a report. There is nothing antisemitic about the post. Former Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak is all over the Epstein files. If you do report a post, please don't that you reported it. That just means that there is another post for me to remove.

The F is "antisemitic" about that comment?! You are nuts. It's well known that Israel is deeply embedded in Epstein's crimes.

Anyway, this is good news. Arrest them all. No matter the political party, nationality, religion, race, etc. Prosecute ALL the pedophiles and sex offenders.

So true. I hope this arrest leads to testimony that damns trump. Even if our government wimps out, our children and grandchildren will know the truth.
I admire the British do much for this brave and just move.

Do you even understand why he was arrested??

THANK YOU. Finally, someone who gets it.

Arresting him on his birthday is a nice touch. I only wish Virginia Giuffre had lived to see this day. Yes, I realize he was not arrested for sex crimes but agree with the others, they get you on what they can get you (e.g., Al Capone and tax evasion). US needs to step up!

There's a silver lining in getting him for a different crime, in that the victims don't have to testify. Some victims may want their day in court, but I suspect most just want him locked up and not to be exposed to a global media circus.

Good point.

Yes

NP

Every stone unturned is like exposing a vipers nest. Messy but you never now what will come of it. This class of men are so intertwined.

Sort of like arresting Jimmy Hoffa for tax evasion. Although it would be great if he apologizes to the trafficking victims, implicates Trump, and/or spills on who in the BRF knew what and when.

Hoffa was wire and mail fraud (and eventually vanishing). Capone was tax evasion.
