About to go pick up my 9 year old from school, 18 minutes from Wootton, with tears in my eyes and a pit in my stomach.
I hope everyone — the student victim and the first responders — is ok and that this is over soon. |

This might make more parents agree to it, you're right. But not sure it'll be a majority just yet. That being said, there's a lot that MCPS could and should be doing before it thinks to deploying metal detectors that would make MCPS schools safer. |

As someone who has been around a lot of people who have been shot, the stomach is the absolute worst because its likely going to be a slow and painful death if it shredded your organs. Hope the person pulls through though |

yea, I was taking a walk right around there with all the cops driving around looking for the shooter. I walked back home pretty quickly. |
