Does the DNC have any sort of plan at all?

She hasn't been silent at all in fact she spoke out before some others. But you couldn't wait to get your dig in

What has she been DOING that you believe demonstrates leadership? Anyone can give an interview and say some stuff.

She isn't in office, so other than giving interviews and showing up at protests, what do you expect?

Welp, if she has any hopes to run again, she maybe should get her ass on some planes and lobby Congress. She's an empty suit. My guess is she's probably focused on collecting fat speaking engagement checks.

Lobby Congress is your answer? She isn't changing the minds of GOP elected officials. I think you are being unrealistic.

STFU STFU STFU. UGH I hate you.

I attended a protest by the Sen minority leader’s home recently. Where was the good Senator? Avoiding a small, organized, polite group of constituents, as he has for the past several years. Ask me how I know. He has the police guard his side of the street - he is not in a SFH, but a very large elegant coop. Schumer is representative of the party and you are a LIAR to disagree and whine “let us rest!” NO. I’m part of the party trying to reach my representative, who is one of the only 2 people - maybe 10 total if we include certain govs and mayors - who can do anything of meaning right now. And he refuses.

I will not vote for Newsom or Harris, given their paltry statements and outsized ambition. I detest them both. Harris is so unsurprising, let’s be honest.

This is the kind of pathetic attitude that the DNC is full of.

They tried nothing and they're exhausted and all out of ideas.

They shut down the government. They've visited ICE facilities. They've done townhalls in red states. They've joined protests. Many of them have voted against every single nomination. They've tried to enter public buildings during DOGE. They've been on social media every day educating the public. They've recorded the GOP's lies on congressional record (to preserve for history).

I think they've been too nice, but it's disingenuous to say they've done nothing.

That’s AOC, Ro Khanna, Bernie, Murphy. Schumer’s in and then out of the shutdown was a f’ing disaster. Jeffries, disaster part 2.

Why did I hear about Pam Bondi’s protection racket letter to Walz (“we’ll leave your nice state alone if you give voting and benefits rolls info”) from Chris Murphy? Where the EFF was Schumer, Jeffries, Newsom, Harris? You want the leadership role? Then LEAD. You want to be the goddamned President? LEAD. Instead, a ‘look at me, I’m a good girl!’ Nothing of a statement from Harris and Newsom going on Shapiro’s podcast after Renee Good’s death and affirming he’ll never close ICE.

This is OP. Completely agree. She is precisely who I was thinking about when I made this post. I wasn't very enthusiastic about her last election, but with her silence now, the DNC better not think they can hold her up as a candidate for the next election. She's MIA when we need leadership the most.

She hasn't been silent at all, but nice try.

Maybe you can go on like an awesome vacay with the Emhoffs, riiight? You can get day drunk and praise his uh fierce speech at Wilkie after they gave Trump a little bit of head. He’s an equity partner there, did he say, fk this, I can take my talents to a firm that doesn’t blow this dictator? Nope, he did not.

Do you think Harris thinks her ‘biggest mistake’ was not having 108 days? Because she does. And her statement did nothing, just like her.

SHE WANTED TO BE PRESIDENT AND HAS NOT RULED OUT A SECOND RUN. WHERE THE F IS THE LEADERSHIP?

+1

She has been very vocal and her words of warning from the 2024 campaign have been reciirculating on social media for months. Just because the media is ignoring her and most other Dems doesn't mean they are sitting on their hands.

“It’s the media’s fault.”

Did Bari Weiss co-opt every other channel too? It’s so weird that Ro Khanna is able to communicate effectively given the uh media.

Leadership. That's what we expect. She may not be in office but she has access to a lot of power and she doesn't seem to be doing much with it at a time when leadership is desperately needed. Do you people expect literally anything from the people who seek power from you? She was asking, and will possibly ask again, for the highest office in our country, yet in our country's time of need, she's writing books and giving soundbites while regular Americans are putting their bodies on the line to protect their neighbors.

You can't think of ANYTHING she could do with all her money, connections, and name recognition?

Giving up in advance, and negotiating away any power you have. That’s her. She comes from a long line of losers who preceded her in having absolutely no honor or clue about how most people feel or live. It doesn’t matter to me anymore that she’s a WOC. If she wanted her role to just mean something symbolic without action, she should have married Prince Charles or one of his kids.

We have been in this coma since the 90s. HRC is right now attending a real estate conference event in Riyadh with John Kerry, Tucker Carlson, Richard Branson, and Piers Morgan.

Don't try to shove a candidate down our throats who is carefully curated but had no discernable stance when it mattered. The DNC should understand that but I'm afraid they don't.

No, they don't. Hence all the violence. It never failed when you don't have enough votes.

NP, I am tired of the bullies. We need at least 4 parties.

I think we can all agree Schumer is part of the problem.

That is very on brand for Democrats. It's not a surprise that Hillary Clinton and John Kerry are choosing this time to rake in money in Riyadh. The Obamas too are absolutely shameless with their greed. There needs to be some serious generational change in the Democratic Party if they want to be viable going forward. There is absolutely no leadership coming from Schumer, Jeffries, Harris. The entire group of recent Democratic leaders needs to go.
