Anyone’s son grow more after lag?

My DS also had a pretty big growth spurt from 12-14. From 5’0”ish-5’8”ish. Currently 15.5 and has slowly crept to 5’10”. I expect he is pretty much done. Maybe another inch or so. Of his friends/peers there are a few late bloomers who didn’t really grow a lot in middle school and are growing a lot now. But most seem similar to DS (grew a lot in middle school and don’t seem to be shooting up anymore).

Since yours also grew a lot in those years, I’m guessing he is also about done. But who knows. There are always crazy stories about late growth spurts, especially if there is a family history.

Nope.

But I still love him. He’s the best.

Smart, bright, funny, kind, apathetic

No issues mentally or socially. Very lucky. Not the tallest but I’ll take him any day.

My son was similar, and now at 16 hasn’t gotten taller in a couple of years. He’s 5’7”. His dad is 6’3”. I’m 5’5”. It is what it is. He doesn’t seem to mind, so it’s fine.
