What do you mean when you say DC is applying to T10s?

Johns Hopkins mom trying to sneak it in next to some of the top schools in the country. Lmao.

Both you and the PP you are responding to sound desperate. Striver parents are the worst.

I think this list make sense to many, though it's a t20 list.
https://www.citizensbank.com/student/articles/what-are-t20-schools.aspx
So HYPMS, Caltech, Chicago, Penn, Columbia, Brown are T10s.

I don't know why Hopkins is not even in T20.

Johns Hopkins is not in the T20 for that list because it includes LSACs, some of which are generally considered better than JHU. That list is actually pretty good.

Seriously, OP? This is what occupies your headspace?!!

The stats of kids at our school go to US News T10s like Chicago, Hopkins, Northwestern are always in a tier below the stats of ivy kids.

I have noticed that whenever someone says they attend a “Top 10” it is invariably Chicago or Hopkins. Just like the kid attending an “Ivy” goes to Cornell.

meh both have higher freshman stats than many ivies

Please explain what citizensbank.com is and how they have credibility in creating any list on college rankings.

Nice trolling but Chicago and Hopkins have been top 5 in enrolled freshman stats for the longest time. Northwestern is usually top 10.

There's about 15 schools in the top 10.

The Ivy 8 plus CalTech, Duke, Chicago, MIT, Northwestern, Stanford, Johns Hopkins

UChicago and JHU are lower than all ivies. It’s an insult to MIT/Caltech when you try to put them in the same sentence.

It’s hilarious how you & OP sit at home discussing prestige and bashing UChicago and JHU when you probably went to a state school and could never survive there, let alone be admitted.

I am confused too.

Northwestern is top 10. Cannot say the same for lower ivies.
