What do you mean when you say DC is applying to T10s?

The stats of kids at our school go to US News T10s like Chicago, Hopkins, Northwestern are always in a tier below the stats of ivy kids.

I have noticed that whenever someone says they attend a “Top 10” it is invariably Chicago or Hopkins. Just like the kid attending an “Ivy” goes to Cornell.

People IRL never talk about attending a "Top 10" school. Don't be so dense.

I guess you went to “an Ivy” then.

Different people rely on different forms of validation.

If you are markedly more impressed by someone going to Cornell or Dartmouth than CalTech or Duke, that's....your choice. It's certainly an interesting one.

Happy New Year!

my kid’s T10 is not your kid’s T10.

The T10 isn’t really a thing anymore. It used to be, but not now. Presently, it is all about the T15.

Break out the polar bear in Texas meme for Columbia's presence on this list.

DCUM is where adults wage ranking wars; Reddit is the junior league.

And if there’s a universal No. 1, it’s clearly the University of $$$ Chachin!!!

UChicago and JHU are lower than all ivies. It’s an insult to MIT/Caltech when you try to put them in the same sentence.

For international or immigrant families, just stick to US News or WSJ ranking if ranking is something you take higher priority when shopping

Really? Why do I see the opposite?

Good luck.

Americans are better at coping though.
