Need a show to binge …

Somebody Somewhere - HBO
My favorite watch of the past year. So funny and poignant and feel-good.

The English Teacher is hilarious and a quick watch, but there are a few episodes that might border on too r-rated for plane viewing.

2nd Happy Endings. DH and I still put it on some nights when we don't have anything else to watch.

I'm the PP who said Happy Endings and I second Somebody Somewhere. Truly one of the sweetest comedies I've ever seen. I wanted to be their friend.

Op here- Palm Springs for the win. Thanks all. And for those in the future, Schitts Creek is great and I would pick that if I hadn’t watched it twice already!

I enjoyed most of the first season of Maya Rudolph's show Loot on an airplane.

You've probably seen these already, but I would recommend the following series:

Succession
White Lotus
Downton Abbey

The Traitors. It’s on Peacock.

If you want something you can fall asleep on a plane to: Ghosts. Cute, feel good, but never enough going in that you can't sleep through a couple episodes and jump back in.

If I may, I would like to repeat one of my suggestions: Loudermilk (Based in Seattle).

Mix of comedy & drama. It works. Tremendous show.

Just checked: Somebody, Somewhere is also a Comedy/Drama. Award winner. I really enjoyed Somebody, Somewhere, but, in my opinion, Loudermilk is better.

Somebody, Somewhere is set in Kansas. Loudermilk in Seattle. Both should appeal to the same type of individual (sensitive, intelligent, & thoughtful).

Sweet Tooth would be good for plane viewing.

I just binged Weeds, funny show, not a great finale. Probably not great for a plane.

I'm re-watching Fallout season 1, I started season 2 and realized I had forgotten most of what had happened.

Landman is very up and down. Seems like most people either like the Billy Bob character (mostly playing to type) or the Ali Larter character (very funny but very over the top sexpot).

Your Friends and Neighbors was good.
Kim’s Convenience
Fisk
Life in Pieces

Wednesday
Resident Alien
Poker Face

She’s so over the top - but one of my favorite characters!! Hard to believe coming from Legally Blonde, which was the only thing I remembered her from. I also like Cooper’s character.
