Politics aside, Amazon has made returns so difficult and frustrating that I avoid shopping there.
I'm also mad about the digital rights issues with kindle books (basically, you bought them but don't own them) so I switched to Kobo. |
Target —never again Walmart not happening Home Depot Anthropologie (although I slipped recently and bought sale candles and earrings there—not proud of it) |
This. If I have to work to return crap or have a short return policy I can’t anymore. |
What happened with Amazon returns? I can’t find the items I want to return from pre Xmas. Don’t see them. Help. |
I agree amazons been messing up returns, charging for returns and saying you returned a different item than you did. F them. |
Which stores? |
My pillow? You all are boycotting crap you would never buy anyway lol 😂 I mean none of you are buying mypillows. |
Trump donor, befriending ICE to arrest customers / day workers and last, but not least, they are enshittifying like Amazon. |
I do Walmart curbside and it’s pretty good. Even better if you have a super Walmart (like in Vienna, Va). I’ll shop anywhere that has a good deal for me and my family. And laughing at the person who said they don’t shop anywhere that is publicly owned. Even if you’re shopping at an independent retailer, you know every product there is sold by a company that is publicly owned you silly person. The virtue signaling on this thread is amusing. |
Have had no issues with Amazon returns. Curious about what your issues have been. |

I don’t truly boycott anywhere but I really hate Target.
90 percent of stuff there is crap no one needs, and yet they often lack options for inexpensive basic practical household items. They were sanctimonious about LGBTQ and trans issues until - oops! Guess they never really cared. |

When the Harris Teeter opened in my neighborhood it was run by backwards hicks too simple to understand an educated, fairly sophisticated clientele.
Someone announced over the intercom for security to pay attention to the lady in my aisle. I was the only person in the aisle, lol. I guess the idiots thought I was going to grab a row of items and sweep them into my purse. It was insulting. Who is stupid enough to insult a local when you first arrive on the scene? I boycotted that Harris Teeter for years. When management was replaced with more competent folks, I began shopping there again. |
Lol 😂🤣😭 insanity!! you would never go to these places, ever. You're just virtually signalling here. SMH. |
Similar experience. No more H&D for me. Has anyone found an alternative luxury fruit company? Sometimes I want to splurge on nice fruit. |

90% avoiding Target, Walmart, Amazon, CVS, Starbucks, and Home Depot at this point. Once in a while I'll buy something at one of those places if I really can't find it anywhere else, or if my kids have a birthday gift certificate or something, but making big efforts ti avoid.
It's changed my shopping habits from "everything is a click away and delivered to your door" to having to think about what stores sell what stuff, specifically, more like when I was a kid. |
