| OP, I'm your height and weight and that's exactly where I stopped. I would probably look great 5-10 lbs lower, but I look pretty good now so it's not really worth the pain of dieting anymore. |
| 5’5” and about 130, size 26-27. I’m pretty muscular but look better slightly slimmer (maybe around low 120s to 125, down about a pant size). However to get to that size I can’t enjoy food the way I want to, and life is too short 😄 |
+1 are you really hippy? |

I’m 5’2” and at about 118 and generally wear a 27 but depends on brands. Honestly there’s should not change how you feel about yourself.
I have wide hips, and generally a wider frame, and am happy with how I look, all while knowing there are things I cannot change. Actively hoping to build more muscle right now for health and longevity purpose, but have spent way too many years trapped in some idea that being the smallest possible size was an achievement, often at a risk to health and happiness. |
| I am 5’2” and 126 with an hourglass shape (narrow waist, bigger hips/butt). I wear a 26 or 27 depending on the cut (this includes a pair on jeans from 15+ years ago that I love more than anything). |
| I am happy with my figure. 5'6" 108# wear a size 25. 52 years old. |
| Age 57, 5’9”, 130 lbs, size 27. |
Op I have almost identical stats and I too have lost weight. I’m currently 5’1 and 110lbs. I’m a size 26 in jeans, size 0, XS in most things. I never thought I’d get here but I’m also not bony at all and still have a jelly roll. I’ve been debating if I should go down to 105? I’m very strong so this isn’t flab. I think most people would think 110 is bony. I’m staying at 110 for a while. My face lost weight and I don’t want to look gaunt. My face has been chubby my whole life so I’m surprised this is the place I lost the most weight. I only went from 130 to 110. 110 is great on my frame though. I know this is a more ideal weight for my joints, back, feet. |
One other thing- it’s hard to find clothes to fit. Most brands start at Small and don’t have XS. I was in jcrew today and the 24s were too big (vanity sizing!) and they didn’t carry anything smaller. |
| I wear a 12/14 in jeans and I’m very happy with my size. |
I’m 5’3.5”, 132 lbs. I wear a size 27. |
| I’m a 26/27 but very unhappy with my rear! This is the year I’m going to get some nice glute muscles. I am at least happy with my shape aside from the flat butt issue |

I'm a 26 and am happy with everything except I have a tummy. I'm 46, 5'4", probably 125 but unsure. My tummy is the only part of my body I often wish I could change.
It's funny how mental this is though. I was always thin, just naturally. I always wore a 0 or an XS, for years and years, until around 40. Even after I had kids, I'd lose the weight right away. And I always kind of thought it doesn't matter, you know? I knew so many women who wore bigger sizes than me who I thought had great bodies, so I just didn't think size mattered that much. But when you get used to something and then it changes, it feels upsetting anyway. When I was pregnant and my boobs got big, I would have thought I'd like having big boobs for once. I hated it. Just because it was different. I didn't feel like me. Now I've gone from an XS/size 0 to wearing a Small and a size 2. And it shouldn't matter because I mostly like the way my body looks. But still whenever I shop there's a sense of defeat in buying the bigger size. Not because I think a size Small is too big, but just because it's not what I've worn before. You don't realize how attached you are to a specific size or shape until it changes. I didn't get it, now I do. |
| I wear size 8 and I’m quite happy. I was a size 4-6 when I was younger and never happy about that. I can’t believe how much mental energy I spent worrying about a couple of inches on my hips. |
Your BMI is 17.5, below the underweight cutoff of 18.5. Glad you are happy. |
