If you are happy with your size, what Jean size do you wear?

Anonymous
Been on a weight loss journey and nearly to the point of maintenance but feel I’m still a bit bigger than I want to be. So I’m curious, if you are at a point where you like your weight, what Jean size are you wearing? Would be helpful to say your height and weight as well.

Right now I’m 5’1, about 118 currently, and a size 27 jean. I feel like I should get to a 25 or 26 before I ease up…

I'm in 30 Levi's now, or a size 10 down from an 18 where I absolutely did not wear jeans, and beyond happy about it.

I'm 5' 7" and weigh about 150lbs. Done with actively losing weight and just maintaining, but goal this year is to do a lot of strength training and build muscle so I could go down another size or so even if I don't lose more weight.

OP, I'm about your size and weight and usually wear a 4. Not sure about brands that use waist measurements. I am fairly happy with my look though, I'm reasonably muscular and haven't ever been able to maintain a lower weight without dieting.

I’m a 25 or 26 depending on brand. Happy with it, except when my size 24 cousin sends me her castoffs and I can’t fit into them!

Wear a size 2 or 4 depending on brand, happy with size

Down from 165, size 10 and holding steady between 115 and 120 (any less than 115 and people start to ask me if I'm ok).

27 or 4 in most jeans. 5'4 and about 120.

I have a rectangular shape and a flat stomach and my waist would not change much if I lost 10 pounds - that's not how my body works. I might fit in a 26 if I stopped cycling and had a flatter ass but that is not really what I'm looking for. I used to weigh 90 and still didnt wear a 25.

I’m in a 29 (5’5 and 150) but I think I look better in a 28. I’ve never been smaller than a 28. However, I did used to be 30 pounds lighter when I was in my early 20s , and wore a 28, so I’m pretty sure some vanity sizing has crept in to my brands… because I’m definitely more than 1 size larger than I was 30 pounds ago

5'4" 120lbs size 2 but it's a cheap Target pair of jeans so perhaps other brands would be in a different size. Other non-jean pants from J Crew and such are size 25.

And vanity sizing is crazy! I have kept a pair of pants from when I was in my 20s (40s now) and it's a size 4. Back then I was 110lbs at *most*...

Perhaps with age and pregnancies, and the fact that she's been working to lose weight, OP's midsection is a little wider. My teen DD has OP's height and weight, but she fits into much slimmer waistlines, which at her age is normal.

Mi have your same stats second poster and also comfortably wear a 25. I’m athletic so low body fat and muscle. No hips no waist. But a 27 at 118 seems hard to picture.
