If you are happy with your size, what Jean size do you wear?

5’0”, 124, menopausal, size 29/8 (sometimes a 6 or 10) after dieting and am finally in my normal weight range. I’m not skinny but I fit into normal sizes and look reasonable, and am happy with this.

how is this possible? I am 5 3 and 125lbs an I wear 25 comfortably

How have you managed to make it to adulthood without realizing how differently bodies carry weight and shape?

I’m OP… most of my weight is in my hips and belly (and boobs… even with weight loss I’m still a DDD, ugh!). I need to tone more so I would say someone who is 125 could be more muscular than I currently am. And yes if had a kid so that probably contributes to where my weight is currently.

It just depends how you are shaped I guess. I’m 5’5” 125 and wear 4/27 in most brands. I don’t think I could wear a 25 in any brand. I have larger thighs and hips and a smaller waist

Right now I’m 5’1, about 118 currently, and a size 27 jean. I feel like I should get to a 25 or 26 before I ease up…

Why?

I am 5'2" tall, weigh 135, and wear a size 8. I am 64yo and am fine with that.

I am 5’8” and 160. I wear a 30 in brands that don’t use vanity sizing, and a 28 in brands that do.

I felt best at size 27. At size 25 I felt too thin and people were commenting on it. Sadly, I'm up to a 30 now that I'm in peri and hating it.

I have lost 30lbs. I am 5'3" and started a size 16/32 and am currently a 10/29. I would happy if I lost 15 more pounds and went down one more size, but ideally I would lose 30 more and go down 2 more sizes.

Size 6/28. Though right now I'm pushing the limits of that size due to some holiday indulgence. I'm 5'8" and 150ish at 53.

28. I'm cute

5’6. 26 is my ideal, but 27 is fine.

However, I did used to be 30 pounds lighter when I was in my early 20s , and wore a 28, so I’m pretty sure some vanity sizing has crept in to my brands… because I’m definitely more than 1 size larger than I was 30 pounds ago

same girl, same. i feel so seen

5’6, 140lb. I am a 26 or 27 in all my jeans, everything I wear is 100% cotton so no stretch.

Wear a size 2 or 4 depending on brand, happy with size

Down from 165, size 10 and holding steady between 115 and 120 (any less than 115 and people start to ask me if I'm ok).

PP, how did you get down to this size?

I'm 5'7 / 135 and I wear a 28 in most pants. I wear a 27 in lower-end retail (J Crew Factory, Gap, etc...).
