I really like my Subaru Solterra. It had the safety features I was looking for but was less $$ than the electric Volvos. I got it in April and have had no issues.

| I have a Bolt and a Rav 4 prime (plug in hybrid). I love both cars, the Rav 4 is a great one if you want a gas backup though the 40 miles is enough I only use gas mode on much longer drives. Even in gas mode it operates as a hybrid and gets fantastic mileage. The Bolt is a fantastic city car, you can park it anywhere. I love how smooth the acceleration is on both cars. Bolt gets about 200 miles per charge (more in the summer, less in winter) and I end up charging it maybe 1-2 times a week. I have a level 2 charger at home. |
| Mach-e, 2023 AWD extended range. The car is a phenomenal drive, I'm thrilled with it. Feels luxurious and high-end and the acceleration is great. After driving beaters for 30 years it was a great 50th birthday present to myself!! |
+1 And Elon killed Tesla |

Toyota Rav 4 Hybrid 2024
Lexus NX 350 Hybrid 2023 Love love love them both. Rav 4 fits a whole apartment LOL We get over 40 miles per hour in both. General service nothing big. Lexus battery went just yesterday. Ours was built during covid small battery dying is a known problem with this model. Ours was still under warranty just annoying more than anything else. Lexus took care of it within an hour. |
