| Which teacher did this? |
| Is the person on admin leave right now? I heard after school activities were cancelled this week, but perhaps that’s because of the upcoming break. |
| Any links to the video |
I have no idea as I haven’t seen this video. But I’m telling you as a teacher, every school year some teacher or staff member manages to get themselves in this situation even if it never makes it on video that the public sees. They feel the need to repeat the actual word a student said and then it becomes a disciplinary thing with a letter in their file or a kid being moved out of their class or something. It makes no damn sense to me. |

| Did they fire her? |
if it were the four letter F word, would she have yelled it out the same way. I think she would’ve used more caution and the F word is less offensive. Regardless of what the woman claims about her personal relationships, she is racist. |
I'd say "clueless," not "racist." The kids who used the term are racist. |
| no one is that clueless. |
If she were racist, would she have reported the kids? |
| Kids are supposed to have phones locked up. Not excusing the teacher, but someone's not enforcing the phone rules. |
Do we know if this was a teacher? |
This was during afterschool. Kids just can’t have their phones out except in certain cases such as this. Otherwise they are allowed to stay in students pockets. |

The adult should have known better but she was not saying it’s okay for her to say. She was saying it was NOT okay and trying to find the kids who said it (while saying it herself, which I get is a completely bonkers lack of judgement). The kids apparently were egging her on as well (which tracks because whoever recorded it didn’t just happen to catch her in the moment).
But the bigger issue is that the kids say it constantly in this period, starting in elementary school. The same day this came out an email from a feeder elementary school came out about racist language being used by the ES students (this is not the first time). There is a much wider issue within this pyramid that is being ignored. |

She said it multiple times, not just once. She knows better than a bunch of middle schoolers. Give me a break.
Afterschool activities were cancelled. Ask your child. They are sure to know who the person was and their relation to afterschool activities. |
