Lab diamonds and engagement ring sizes

I don’t think engagement rings are seen as wealth indicators anymore and the appeal is no longer in that they are a representation of a lot of money being spent

Do you really consider 2 ct comfortable for daily wear? I don’t.

I wear a 2ct cushion on a 4.25 size finger, lower setting daily. It’s never caused me any issues or discomfort.

I do think there are a solid amount of people that, like me, find this size comfortable for daily wear.

Anyone flaunting a big (2+) carat lab grown diamond is low class. Simple as.

I have 2.33 carat center stone, but my finger is a size 7.25. Smaller stones made my finger look fat. I wish we’d been able to save money by getting a lab diamond, but I’m so happy with DH that it’s water under the bridge at this point.

Seriously? I wear 5 carats - all natural and it's what my 2nd husband chose to give me.

You never had to worry about that. There was never any money in second hand diamonds.

There is no way to tell a lab grown vs mined diamond if there is no marker mark.

Mined is still superior to a lab diamond any day.

I guess you need something to feel better about vastly overpaying. 🤣
