Very clearly says mid-year ID sessions https://www.instagram.com/p/DRu8SRpiKnz/?igsh=MXRtdG9sOXI1a2kwbw== |
| Its fairly common to do mid season tryouts at local clubs. Sometimes they don't even have openings, just want to see if the next Pele happens to wander in. There's no downside for the club. |
As has happened every year at this time for every competitive club. ("ID clinics vs "tryouts", but still it's happened every year I've been involved in youth soccer) |
JH left because they told him he had to coach 2 teams. Hes got a young family and just couldn’t commit. Had nothing to do with any coach or leadership. |
| Weird that they would rather lose a definite good coach for one team just because he doesn't want to coach two. Short sighted. |
| OP, the problem with the 2014s is the roster, not the coach. No coaching change will save that ship. You need a whole new crew of sailors and the best thing that could happen if you are unhappy is that you find a new team. The problem is that many of the boys on the u14 team will never make another team in the same league. This is not the coaches fault. |
things not going according to plan?
|
Licenses expire, they arent indefinite. The only one that I'm aware that is indefinite is the D license. |
| You could have handpicked any coach in the DMV to lead the 2014 squad. The results would be the same because the roster is out of its league. And at this point in the year, no matter what the demeanor of the coach, parents and players would grow tired of losing. You signed up for it, now make the most of it. |

Expect Jan & Feb ID sessions for the next cycle - have to lock in those non-MLS players before all heck breaks loose due to age group changes. |
so this is what is really going on? |
| They really eliminated the Rev coaching staff thread. |
There is no 2014 squad at NVA, you know what you are talking about? |
they mean the u14 team. |
