He had a group of his futsal families and friends who loved him because those parents thought their kids at 9-10 years old were going pro

This is the sad thing about youth sports. Parents are willing to put up with all kinds of bad behavior from coaches if they think it will lead to their kid being good at the sport. Shows where the priorities are.

There’s a search bar on us learning website to look up any coach in this nation. His name comes up with zero USSF credentials

If you think a 7v7 online module is good enough for a MLS next club then… no wonder this country’s youth soccer is in shambles

That search will only come up with recent licenses. They may have licenses from before the database. Not saying this individual does, just that the database is not complete.

It is complete. You’ll find folks’ licenses from any time

Not true. Some coaches may have submitted information on older licenses to get them to show, but the database is not complete. For instance, I have 5 different USSF licenses from 10+ years ago, none of them show. I know other licensed coaches who did their courses further back and they don’t show up either.

the problem with that coach is that he can only show respect to top players in area which came to him with an already very high working rate. Subpar ability to develop a player. If your kid is not super invested, bad demeanor surfaces as others pointed out. Only reason the job was given at NVA is because he brought in his futsal players.

Lying through your teeth but fear not, truth always comes out and sooner or later will see the WHYs and maybe even the HOWs behind MH’s hiring decision process and rationale. Should be fun!

Sidenote: NVA is not going to around MLSN & GA for much longer (the selling of LSP is one of the culprits)

BL belittles his young players. He thinks he’s slick but he’s been heard calling players lazy and garbage and mutters fouls language.
His antics are extremely off putting exuding lack of self control and projecting nothing but ego instead of focusing on young players’ growth the and development.

Is MH completely disconnected now that his daughters are in the NVA female side of things? Disgusting how here in the USA it’s all about money, facade, and politics.

Haven't you noticed that MH is the problem? JH left NVA to coach at Loudoun for reasons(not just his daughter). JH was a good coach at NVA.

Not defending BL cuz I don't know him, but if your kid isn't 'super invested' they shouldn't play at NVA.

He's a really young guy. He doesn't have licenses from 10 years ago when he was in middle school.

If yours are below D License, they will not show.

+1. MLSN mandates that a club must have amateur/semi-pro team within the club to maintain MLSN 1 status.

Also false as hell because everything comes up - pull up any coach in your club and you can even see the extinct E and F licenses.
The more you weirdos try to defend and incompetent hire and also incompetent director the more you are exposed. Count your blessings because a solid shake is in the works across the entire dmv landscape.

We are extremely disappointed with our U13 and U14 boys’ coach but management has not responded to our concerns and have succinctly indicated that no changes are happening for next 25/26 playing year. Considering it is a change from BY to SY we will definitely move to an ECNL club if needed.

No chance of going to Revolution under any circumstance and would go to TSJ if they were MLSN instead of the fake MLS2.

The 2013 and 2012 teams are two very different situations. You have kids on both teams?

Not true. My E license from 2012 is on there.

Chill. All clubs are now apparently making tryouts in winter for the 26/27 year.
