Woman killed in aggressive deer attack

Anonymous
They eat everything and poop everywhere.

She kept a wild male deer on her property. I'm not going to cry over someone who took such risks, sorry. For those of us who deal with horses, we know the dangers. For wild horses, even more so. Deer aren't as heavy as horses, but they can still trample you to death, or hit a vital organ.

It's best not to feed the deer or treat them as pets. They are wild animals.

Just as I suspected. I always knew these things were dangerous !

Did you read your own link? They kept the deer confined in a pen on her property. He was trapped and trying to escape. This wasn't some random deer attack like your fake title insinuated. You're just as bad as a fake news. "I always knew these things were dangerous," you sound like an idiot. Tell the whole story next time.

No, it is YOU who is fake. And you are really quite stupid.

I never insinuated anything.

Was a deer involved? Yes, yes it was.
Was a woman killed? Yes, in fact the deer killed her.
Was the deer kill her aggressively? Uh, YEAH.

I think you lack any sort of basic reading comprehension, PP. you should stop posting before you embarrass yourself further.

Not sure where you live, but Fairfax County does have a Deer Management Program. It was pretty disconcerting the first time I saw the hunters in the park behind my house!

https://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/wildlife/deer-management-program

Montgomery County has one too.
https://montgomeryparks.org/caring-for-our-parks/wildlife/montgomery-parks-deer-population-management/

DC deer are managed via sharpshooters in the National Parks. https://www.nps.gov/rocr/learn/management/white-tailed-deer-management.htm#:~:text=What%20is%20the%20Deer%20Management,affecting%20the%20environment%20is%20made.

There's not really any area nearby where animal rights folks have prevented culling afaik.

A looming souce of grief for me in Arlington. They plan to kill nearly half the deer.
County staff developed plan with White Buffalo. Guess who got the contract to shoot them? Right you are.

It’s murder! The poor deer !!!

Fawns are fine but don't mess with bucks. Male wild animals are about as safe as male humans to mess with.

Anonymous wrote:I have deer and turkeys come through my back yard out of the woods all the time. I enjoy seeing the fawns every spring and sometimes I can even start to recognize them as they grow towards the fall. Sometimes they just sit on the grass and have a nice rest. They feel safe in the open on my property and don't run.

I buy 80lbs at a time of raw peanuts in the shell and toss them out.

I get a lot of crows, too, and sometimes they leave me little sparkly things on the outside table where I put their peanuts.

So?

I mean haven't people seen videos of male deer fighting and locking antlers? Prey animals can still fight.

Team PP. You can go sell your story to the Nat'l Inquirer. It's junk news at best. Wild animal acts wild. Breaking story at 11.

Hey people I was walking on a trail recently when some deer stepped out onto the trail up ahead of me. Once they saw me approaching they went back into the woods. I passed them a few minutes later. A buck was standing in front of the does, looking very alert with head held high. He took a couple of quick steps forward, but stayed in the woods. I spoke quietly at him, walked by quickly but kept my eye on him. He was prepared to defend his girls. Nothing happened, but the buck's stance was all business. No need to get hysterical about it, but be a little careful around bucks at this time of the year, as its rutting season.
