Just as I suspected. I always knew these things were dangerous !

Did you read your own link? They kept the deer confined in a pen on her property. He was trapped and trying to escape. This wasn't some random deer attack like your fake title insinuated. You're just as bad as a fake news. "I always knew these things were dangerous," you sound like an idiot. Tell the whole story next time.

But this woman was keeping this male deer in a pen on her property? And then was trapped inside the enclosure with it? Seems like this is an example of play stupid games and win stupid prizes or the Darwin effect.

“Cull?!?” MORE LIKE MURDER !

Not sure where you live, but Fairfax County does have a Deer Management Program. It was pretty disconcerting the first time I saw the hunters in the park behind my house!

https://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/wildlife/deer-management-program

Montgomery County has one too.

DC deer are managed via sharpshooters in the National Parks. https://www.nps.gov/rocr/learn/management/white-tailed-deer-management.htm#:~:text=What%20is%20the%20Deer%20Management,affecting%20the%20environment%20is%20made.

There's not really any area nearby where animal rights folks have prevented culling afaik.

I gather you haven't heard of Arlington county.

People should learn to shoot a compound bow. No one will know when you whack a deer.

Arlington has been blocked for years by citizen groups. Hopefully, Arlington will finally get to start culling this winter.

Have you tried trapping and cornering a buck? That might do the trick, just use less of your brain

A looming souce of grief for me in Arlington. They plan to kill nearly half the deer.
County staff developed plan with White Buffalo. Guess who got the contract to shoot them? Right you are.

Be sure to tell your kids every time they see 2 deer one is going to be shot because they eat vegetation. Plants over mammals! Way to go.

Get a grip. Most of them starve because there is not enough food. The kind thing is to cull the herd. [/quo
te]

This. We live in a rural community near charlottesville. Our HOA must pay for archers to cull at night. The amount is set by the state. It's a kindness to the deer because they starve during winter.

Deer overgraze in the forests around us and have contributed to the decline of native species of plants and trees. Also when they stop culling the deer, there are far more car accidents with them.
