| What’s going to happen in NJ? |
DP. While I didn't vote for Sears, the PP has a point. You won't hear Sears complaining that she lost because she's a black woman. You won't hear Republicans claiming idiotically that this was the reason she lost. That's a purely Democratic phenomenon and it needs to stop. |
Sears was just complaining today that Obama previously said to vote for a Black woman and she is right here, implying that she should have endorse her. Edit: Here is a video of it: |
Maybe because the dipshit republican candidates ran on national positions backed by the president that had nothing to do with improving the lives of Virginians. I honestly am not sure they actually wanted to win. |
Lol. Keep 'em honest Jeff. |
NY Times hasn't called it, but says Dem mikie sherill is on track to win comfortably in NJ. I thought that race was going to be closer. It's a strong night for the Democrats so far. |
I was not expecting that at all. |
Not this early in the night. But 95% of the votes are in and he won with a healthy margin. Democratic SWEEP! |
You are "honestly curious about the fixation on Trump"? If that's true I respectfully suggest you pull your head out of your rear and wake up. |
That's my point!! State and local elections matter. Fairfax County is LOCAL and that's how taxes are determined |
Associated Press called the Gov race for the Democrat (Sherill). Doesn't look like it was close at all. |
| Take the NJ talk to the national Politics thread. |
Yup join us here for non-Virginia stuff https://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/1299969.page |
+1 Pick up a freaking newspaper and get a clue. |
| Looks like a 14 seat pick up for Dems the Virginia House of Delegates. Looks like a Blue Tsunami hitting Virginia to me. |
