Yay! |
NBC News projects Spanberger as well. |
|
Spanberger wins. Race called.
Curious about the AG race |
|
Looks like Jones will win, with Fairfax showing big lead for Jones and over 60% uncounted.
Richmond is close with many votes left, and Va Beach / Chesapeake are +10 Miyares but there just aren't enough votes left there. The long tail of small rural counties won't add enough votes for Miyares to catch up. |
| AP has called the race for Spangberger. |
| At least one MAGA crackpot lost today. |
|
Prince William also has a huge 100K votes uncounted, and it extremely Jones.
Jones is over 70% in large blue areas, but Miyares is only about 60% in large red areas. Miyeras is >80% in rural areas, but there aren't enough votes there. (I wish news sites would condense the rural areas into a few mega-zones with substantial vote counts) |

NY Times said she’s on track to win with 57 pct. |

Oh no! I looked for another thread but didn't see it. This thread is in Metro DC, so let's not follow NJ here. Let's finish up VA AG here |
| Is Winsome planning to concede gracefully? |
| NY Times Headline: Democrat wins Virginia Governor’s race with forceful Anti-Trump campaign |
The 60% are election day votes, mainly. Only women in NoVA would vote for a man who said a candidate's kids should be shot |
Sorry, it's too late to campaign. Polls are closed. |
