I’m in therapy I cannot escape the negative aspects of my raising, even though my parents were pretty good. (Doesn’t mean I’m ruined. It means patterns repeat themselves)

Right after a recent session, I saw a podcast talking about Vance.. I’ve read his book too.. it made me think.. how has he risen above his messy family? How is that possible, when I can’t?
