You don't anything about asthma? |
Inbreeding is quite rare in the USA. But it is still VERY common in many other countries such as many Latin American, African, Middle East, parts of Europe, or India/Asian countries, and not even taboo or illegal at all in many of those areas to marry a first or second cousin. |
That hasn't been a popular word since boomers were kids. Do you also say words like "chicano" or "capital idea"?

| It's from the tv show Stranger Things !! |

It’s a bad look.
Yes mouth open resting face makes you look not smart. |
True. Inbreeding is still common in 3rd world countries. |
Have we already forgotten slack jaw Joe? |
Lol. If you’re attempting to assert that “queer” has been out of use for the last 70 years, don’t expect to be taken seriously |
When was the last time you heard it used? Last I remember was Jack on Will and Grace in the early 2000s. |
What? It is used constantly…to the point that they added a whole-ass “Q” to LGBT. I don’t believe you haven’t heard anyone refer to themselves or others as queer since 2000. |
We just discussed the prevalence of inbreeding after watching The Color Purple (2023 musical version) last night with our teens. Celie’s two children were presumed to be products of inbreeding for more than 3/4ths of the movie. It’s only at the very end she discovers Alphonso was not her biological father, although this revelation in no way diminishes Alphonso’s pedophilia with 14 year-old Celie, as well as his rape of his adopted daughter. In poverty-stricken rural African-American communities in the Deep South during that era (1920-1950), there was likely a high incidence of inbreeding. |
That's not pedophilia. Many people use the word incorrectly these days. |
